For once, you’ll actually want to be caught red handed, as Grammy Award-winning reggae and dancehall icon, Shaggy, teams up with legendary R&B group, Blackstreet, for a one time show at the Coca-Cola Arena on May 11, 2024. Tickets start at AED 199 and can be found here.

Renowned for chart-topping classics such as “It Wasn’t Me,” “Angel,” and “Boombastic,” Shaggy continues to tour the globe with his timeless classics and irresistible stage presence. Joining him on stage is the iconic American R&B group Blackstreet, known for their timeless tracks like “No Diggity” and “Don’t Leave Me”. To date, Blackstreet has sold over 6 million albums worldwide.

As the only diamond-selling dancehall artist in music history, Shaggy, aka Mr. Boombastic, has sold more than 40 million albums, with eight singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and seven albums on the Billboard 200 (including four in the top 40). He is among the top three streamed reggae artists of all time on Spotify.

In addition to his impressive musical accolades, Shaggy is a humanitarian and philanthropist. His organisation, ‘Shaggy and Friends’, has donated more than AED 3.5 million to the Bustamente Children’s Hospital in Jamaica.

This concert will be another addition to Dubai’s rapidly growing and already impressive entertainment calendar, but as to who will be crowned champion of entertainment between Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai is still up for debate.
