Amr Diab fans, the wait is over.

Egyptian pop sensation Amr Diab is back with exciting news: the singer is releasing his long-awaited album, Makanak, on December 28 exclusively on Anghami, the Middle East’s largest music streaming platform.

Amr Diab’s Makanak is a 12-song album and will be the singer’s first release since 2020, when he dropped Ya Ana Ya La. Makanak reportedly blends Arabic Maqsoum with the global beats of deep house vibes, creating a musical representation of Diab’s career and journey.

The collaboration between the Arabic streaming giant and the Egyptian star reached new heights in 2023 when Diab became the most followed artist on Anghami. With an incredible 1.8+ billion streams, Anghami has also officially crowned Amr Diab as the most streamed artist of all time on their platform.

Following the release of the new album, Diab will be embarking on a live tour, managed by Anghami Spotlight. The tour is set to kick off in Abu Dhabi on March 2nd, 2024, and will be followed by stops in Cairo, Dubai, and Amman. More stops are yet to be announced.
