The roaring sound of Formula One engines won’t be the only thing blasting your ear drums next month, with the announcement that musical trio Amr Diab, Bruno Mars and Alesso will each headline one of the days over Qatar F1 Race Weekend in Doha.

Taking place on October 6 to 8, the glamour of motorsport’s crown jewel will return to Qatar at the newly re-restructured Lusail International Circuit (LIC), but aside from fast cars and louder engines, Qatari race fans will be treated to an all-star line-up of global musical talents at the post-race concerts.

Racing under Qatar lights for only the second time ever, the 2023 F1 Qatar Grand Prix weekend will kick off with icon Amr Diab taking the stage Friday night, October 6. Scandinavian DJ sensation and Swedish House Mafia collaborator, Alesso, takes over the sound system the following night.

And on Sunday, October 8, pop icon Bruno Mars a.k.a. the 21st Century James Brown, will continue his selective Middle Eastern tour, which kicks off later this month at the AlUla concert in Saudi Arabia. Bruno Mars teamed up with Anderson Paak in 2021 for their musical supergroup, Silk Sonic, blasting the airwaves with their singles, Leave The Door Open and Smokin’ Out The Window.

Unsurprisingly, tickets are selling faster than Ferrari drove last Sunday, but there are still some left which you can buy here.

Less than a year removed from the all-conquering events of the FIFA World Cup, one thing is clear, Qatar knows how to host and event, and certainly knows how to throw a party.
