You can now save an unlimited number of tracks

Spotify has scrapped its 10,000 song limit on personally libraries. That means starting today, subscribers have unlimited storage for their tracks.

The feature is one of the most requested from users since way back in 2014. Now, there is no limit on the number of tracks you can have in your personal library.

The limit disappeared overnight. Usually, if you attempt to save more than 10,000 items you get hit with a message saying “Epic collection, my friend. There’s no more room in your library. To save more, you’ll need to remove some songs or albums.

That said, the update does not affect Spotify’s playlist track limit (which is the same 10,000 tracks).

The new feature is standard across Spotify (so you don’t need a certain subscriber plan to make use of the feature). You will now be able to add music until your collection is complete.

The limit is being removed worldwide now.
