It’s like no safety video you’ve ever seen

The largest airline in Korea, Korea Air, has released a new safety video starring k-pop mega-group SuperM.

The video features all the usual safety briefing features, along with a futuristic set and pop beats. Between bits of safety advice, the group jump into song.

SuperM was founded earlier this year. The group includes seven members from four other boy bands, including  Taemin from Shinee, Baekhyun and Kai from Exo, Taeyong and Mark from NCT 127, and Ten and Lucas from Chinese boy group WayV.

When the group was launched, it was dubbed a ‘K-Pop Super Group’ as it was made up of previous bob band members.

In Korea, the band are known as ‘the Avengers of K-pop’. According to the group’s management’s executive and director Chris Lee, “Each Avenger has their own group and Iron Man has his own movie and Thor has his own, but together, they have an even greater synergy, so like that the members will pursue their own careers and own groups but also join together with synergy – a positive one.”

The M in the title stands for both Matrix and Master, with each member already an established star in their own bands. A teaser for the Korea Air x SuperM collaboration was teased last week.

You can watch the full video below (which includes a rapping pink teddy bear at the 1:45-minute mark).

To date, SuperM has yet to make an appearance here in the UAE. Unlike other stars BTS who were recently in town to pick up their Dubai Stars.
