Oasis, the defining band of the 1990s (if you were living in Europe, that is), has announced that they are reuniting for a volley of shows next year, 15 years after the notorious Gallagher brothers broke up, explicitly stating they would never play again.

Thankfully, they were wrong, and these reunion shows will be next year’s The Eras Tour for middle aged men with mods haircuts and windbreakers. And we couldn’t be more excited.

Where is the band going to play? Here are the upcoming UK dates and locations for 2025.

  • Cardiff Principality Stadium – July 4 and 5.
  • Manchester Heaton Park – July 11, 12, 19, 20
  • London Wembley Stadium – July 25, 26; August 2 and 3
  • Edinburgh Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium – August 8 and 9
  • Dublin Croke Park – August 16 and 17

In the 1990’s, Oasis defined what would come to be known as the Brit-pop era, and Wonderwall has become so engrained in our psyche that the song itself has become akin to folklore.

Although no additional dates have been announced yet, one can only hope they add some more in the calendar, as trying to cram the entire world into a few UK stadiums might prove quite chaotic. Tickets are rumoured to go live on Saturday, August 31, 2024.

Anyway, here’s Wonderwall.
