The late, great Sir Roger Moore, who filled the 007 shoes after Sean Connery, played the iconic super spy between 1973 to 1985 in seven different James Bond films, specifically: Live and Let Die (1973), The Man with the Golden Gun (1974), The Spy Who Loved Me 1977), Moonraker (1979), For Your Eyes Only (1981), Octopussy (1983), and A View to a Kill (1985).
And now the actor’s son, Geoffrey Moore, is starring in his own spy thriller, Knightfall, alongside cult actor Ian Ogilvy, who acted alongside the original Frankenstein himself, Boris Karloff.
Knightfall‘s IMDB description reads: Charles Knight, an infamous former spy catcher must work with his estranged daughter to avert a homeland security bloodbath and survive a terrifying home invasion.

Knightfall is currently in production from Shogun Films, helmed by producer Jonathan Sothcott, a company responsible for some of the UK’s most legendary thriller pictures in recent years.
Directed by Ben Mole, the film also stars Rupert Holiday Evans, Jeanine Nerissa Sothcott, and Michael Paré.
When discussing the film, Jonathan Sothcott noted: “This will be the perfect foil for Geoffrey as two sides of the same charismatic coin – this is our love letter to the great British spy films and series of yesteryear and we couldn’t ask for a better cast. Aficionados are in for a real treat.”

Blessed with his father’s cinematic good looks and effortless ability for hand to hand combat and carrying a gun, it will be exciting to see Moore’s personal take on the spy thriller, the genre that immortalised his last name into the history books forever.
And on a personal note, A View to a Kill boasts the best James Bond theme song of all time.
Knightfall is scheduled for release later this year in 2024.
