It’s an appreciation that played out in the recent Omniyat Summer Collection by Big Art Festival, an inventive series of events staged in some of the world’s most glamorous Mediterranean destinations, from Capri and Monaco, to Forto Dei Marmi and Porto Cervo. Combining leading musical talent, five star locations, and intimate audiences, the events are designed to offer something truly unique to invited guests.
For its latest event, Omniyat travelled to Portofino to welcome globally renowned Maestro Andrea Bocelli to the terrace of the Belmond Hotel Splendido. Over the course of an unforgettable gala evening, guests enjoyed an elevated gastronomic offering from Chef Corrado Corti, featuring such delights as Blue lobster; Risotto with Monte Rosso anchovies, Chiavari hazelnuts, and burnt lemon; Amberjack fillet with fondant leeks; and Lamb, smoked eggplant cream, and mint yogurt, all served against one of Italy’s most iconic backdrops. In the company of a ninety-person audience, drawn from around the globe, Bocelli’s performance felt incredibly intimate. From Time to Say Goodbye to Turandot‘s Nessun dorma, Mamma, and Love in Portofino, given special meaning performed in the eponymous location, the evening proved both elegant and emotional; testament to Omniyat’s re-envisioning of luxury.
