In cinema’s infancy over a hundred years ago, visiting a movie theatre used to be a cause for celebration, one that demanded fancy attire by everyone in attendance. A century later, this is no longer the norm…unless, of course, you’re Valentino.
In a celebration of cinematic artistry and timeless elegance, Maison Valentino, in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), is hosting an exclusive four-night film screening event at the 421 Art Campus from January 13 to January 16. The showcase will feature works by a true cinematic g.o.a.t., Italian director Federico Fellini.

The Valentino Cinema unfolds over four nights. The Maison showcases Fellini’s Roma on January 13 and 14, La Dolce Vita on the 15, and 8 1⁄2 on the 16 (the latter of which is one of Martin Scorsese’s favourite films, and boasts one of the most iconic dance scenes in cinema history).
The event pays homage to Rome’s picturesque allure, a central theme in Valentino’s Avant Les Débuts campaign, the inaugural collection by Creative Director Alessandro Michele for the House. Inspired by Fellini’s evocative portrayal of Rome’s spirit, the campaign weaves the director’s visionary storytelling into its essence, creating a seamless blend of fashion and cinematic art.
Known as the luxury fashion capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi is the perfect location for this exciting collaboration between Valentino’s dedication to art and the dynamic cultural initiatives of the region.

The film and fashion lovers’ event is brought to life through a partnership with ADIO. By partnering with leading luxury retailers, ADIO is redefining Abu Dhabi’s retail landscape, driving and creating innovative consumer experiences.
See you in Abu Dhabi.
