From the team behind the beloved Saudi animated series Masameer County, comes Ras B Ras, a new live-action comedy.
Ras B Ras is the foray into live-action films from writer and creator, Abdulaziz Almuzaini – and his Saudi production studio, Sirb, and will be directed by fellow countryman, Malik Nejer.
A first sneak peek of the film has been shared showcasing a fresh take for Arabic audiences involving life-changing adventures that are jam-packed with comic relief and quick-paced hijinks.
Nejer, known for Masameer County, is bringing his specialty in child-like wonderment and slapstick comedy to the real world in this hilarious new flick.

RAS B RAS: What’s the ‘hook’?
In the uproarious world of Bathaikha, this film tells the story of Darwish (Adel Redwan), a goofy chauffeur who unknowingly picks up a retired crime lord at the airport.
What follows is a relentless pursuit by the old man’s gang, determined to retrieve their boss unharmed (insert said hijinks) .
Alongside Darwish, Abu Ghadrah (Ziyad Alamri) and Fayadh (Abdulaziz Alshehri), the newly appointed CEO of Sheikhs’ Chauffeur limo company, embark on a mission to deceive the gang into believing their target is still alive.
This (obviously) sparks a wild and transformative adventure filled with laughter.
Reading the log-line alone, we can’t wait to see what the film looks like.

Lucky for us, we won’t have to wait long at all.
Ras B Ras comes out August 3rd to Netflix.
