It has just dropped three trailers for Black Mirror season 5. Featuring a slew of well-known cast members, including Miley Cyrus, Andrew Scott, Madison Davenport and Anthony Mackie, Season 5 is looking to be the series biggest – and darkest – yet.

Netflix also announced details on each episode, and while this season will only have three episodes, show creator Charlie Brooker has said they’ve pulled out all the stops.

Black Mirror Season 5 Episode 1: Smithereens

The first episode centres around Andrew Scott (who is best-known for playing Moriarty from BBC’s Sherlock). He plays an unstable ride-share driver who despite listening to self-help podcasts can’t seem to control his anger.

Black Mirror Season 5 Episode 2: Rachel, Jack and Ashley, Too

Cast: Miley Cyrus, Angourie Rice, Madison Davenport
The second episode delves into the word of pop star Ashley (played by Miley Cyrus) and her adoring fans. On the surface, everything about the pop-star’s life is perfect. But underneath the pink wig, Ashley’s life seems to be falling apart.

Black Mirror Season 5 Episode 3: Striking Vipers

Cast: Anthony Mackie, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Nicole Beharie, Pom Klementieff, Ludi Lin
The last episode attempts to answer the question, “is it ever really possible to get away from it all”. It features Mackie (Falcon in The Avengers films) who plays a miserable suburban family man desperate for an escape from his mediocre life.
