The Discovery Channel special ‘Space Launch LIVE: Blue Origin & Jeff Bezos Go To Space’ will air tonight in the Middle East, in its regional premiere.

Blue Origin’s Jeff Bezos and crew successfully launched and landed on Tuesday, July 20.
The show follows the action of the Jeff Bezos’ journey and Blue Origin’s first flight to space, including on-the-ground commentary, professional analysis of the expedition and exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the historical event.
In June, Bezos announced that both he and his brother are joining the first crewed spaceflight from his private rocket company this summer, just over two weeks after he stepped down as the CEO of Amazon.
On his Instagram, he opined about how this is a fulfilment of a lifelong goal.
“Ever since I was five years old, I’ve dreamed of traveling to space. On July 20th, I will take that journey with my brother. The greatest adventure, with my best friend.”
Nearly 6,000 people bid to be a part of the trip from 143 countries across the world.
“To see the earth from space, it changes you. It changes your relationship with the earth, with humanity — it’s one earth,” said Bezos in his announcement video.
Afterwards, he posted an ode to his family on his Instagram account.
