Money Heist’s grand finale returns in two parts in September and December 2021

It’s almost time to say ciao to La Casa de Papel. The final part of Money Heist will be coming in two volumes–first on September 3, with a second volume hitting Netflix on December 3, 2021.  The two parts will be five episodes each.

Ahead of that premiere, we’ve gotten our first look at what is sure to be an action-packed and emotional finale from creator Alex Pina.

When last we left the Gang, they were in over their heads, in a heist that is going wrong in every way imaginable. The Professor is in danger, there is chaos inside the Bank of Spain, and no one safe.

“The gang has been shut in the Bank of Spain for over 100 hours. They have managed to rescue Lisbon, but their darkest moment is upon them after losing one of their own. The Professor has been captured by Sierra and, for the first time, doesn’t have an escape plan. Just when it seems like nothing else could go wrong, an enemy comes on the scene that is much more powerful than any they’ve faced: the army. The end of the greatest heist in history is approaching, and what began as a robbery will turn into a war,” reads the official description from Netflix.

After Nairobi’s heart-wrenching death, it truly feels like anything could happen in these final two parts at any time.

Esquire Middle East will be covering the final season from top to bottom, with exclusive interviews with the cast and crew coming in the next several months, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled.
