The much-anticipated Snyder Cut is estimated to drop on VOD in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait on March 18. Here’s how and where to watch

Zack Snyder’s Justice League will officially be available March 19 in the Middle East.

The much-anticipated #SnyderCut of the 2017 film, featuring hours of never-before-seen footage and new scenes written and filmed since production on the film reopened last year, is headed to Video on Demand in the Gulf.

The films are set for release in the Gulf a day after the US release.

Esquire Middle East has exclusively confirmed that Zack Snyder’s Justice League will hit OSN onDemand to buy on March 19 at 12:00 pm KSA/1:00 pm UAE across the entire Middle East.

We have yet to receive confirmation from other platforms including Apple TV/iTunes Movies, but have confirmed that the movie is not for sale yet on the platform, and will update this story when it goes live.

The film’s official website on DC Universe, owned by Warner Bros, lists UAE release platforms as beIN and OSN incorrectly as March 18. The site also lists release on eLife, Switch TV and DU for April 2.

For Saudi Arabia, release is listed as Apple TV and iTunes Movies, Google, PlaybeIN, OSN on March 18, which now will be March 19, and JawwyTV on April 2.

The film is exclusive to HBO Max at launch in the States, with no plans for cinema release for the four-hour movie anywhere in the world. It launches at 12:01 AM PST on March 18 in the United States on that platform.

In Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain, it will drop on BeIN and OSN onDemand on March 19, with JawwyTV to follow on April 2.

Qatar will get the film on March 19 on beIN and OSN onDemand, with Ooredoo to follow on April 2.

In Lebanon, Jordan, Syria and other markets in which OSN is available, the film will be available on beIN and OSN onDemand on March 19 at the same time.

Snyder stepped away from 2017’s Justice League in the middle of production due to a family tragedy, leaving the film in the hands of currently-radioactive director Joss Whedon, who turned in a tonal mess that alienated fans, with its most lasting legacy being left upon the meme world, who embraced the weird CGI mouth that Henry Cavill’s Superman sports for most of the film as they had to digitally remove a moustache he contractually had to keep during Whedon’s reshoots for the concurrently shooting Mission Impossible 6.

Then, after years of fans clamouring online for Warner Bros to #ReleaseTheSnyderCut, and directly due to Hollywood’s shut down during the height of the COVID-19 leaving the studio to look at its shelf for potential blockbuster content for its new HBO Max service at a time when new projects were not being greenlit and post-production effects studios miraculously had time on their hands, Snyder came back into the fold.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League will featuring many characters and scenarios that were not in the original film. It was recently confirmed that Jared Leto will return as Joker in the film as part of its extensive reshoots, with the character again reimagined to suit Snyder’s style rather than David Ayer’s, who directed the actor in 2016’s Suicide Squad.
