Ten days before its worldwide release, Warner Bros. has released a first-look at the film

Ahead of its release later this month, Warner Bros. has published the opening scene of Wonder Woman 1984.

The three-minute clip gives fans a look at the Amazon Isles, where Wonder Woman (aka Diana Prince) grew up, as she honed her superhuman abilities while training alongside the Amazonians.m

The clip ends with a cut to modern-day, where she saves lives via her supersonic sprints, bullet-deflecting cuffs and the Lasso of Truth.

The second Wonder Woman film is once again directed by Patty Jenkins, and is a direct sequel to the original film. Gal Gadot once again reprises her role as the superhero, and Chris Pine returns to the franchise.

They will star alongside Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal, who will be playing baddies Cheetah and Maxwell Lord respectively.

Wonder Woman 1985 will be released to cinemas in the UAE later today, as well as streaming platform HBO Max on December 25.
