Netflix has said that its excellent Transformers series ‘War for Cybertron’ will return on December 30.
Far beyond a regular cartoon series, the Cybertron series has been celebrated for its very adult take on the transforming robots; the series explores topics such as the role of government, religion, self-sacrifice, war and genocide.
Earthrise picks up directly where the last chapter left off, and follows Optimus Prime and the Autobots as they flee Cybertron with the Allspark. Now left abandoned, Megatron attempts to maintain his Decepticon army while also going on the hunt for Optimus.
