We are barely two months away from the first Marvel film of the year, featuring Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow.
As it is want to do, Marvel has released the final trailer of the film which showcases the film’s big bad, as well as Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff and her extended family.
Much of the trailer follows Romanoff and her adopted sister Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova, trying to evade capture by various baddies (including evil versions of their own spy sorority the Red Room).
It also provides us with our best look yet of Taskmaster.
The trailer reveals that Taskmaster is in control of the Red Room, but does little to explain who the character is behind the mask.
To further add mystery to the film a set of emojis released to promote the film has revealed there may be another comic book villain in the fray: Rachel Weisz’s Iron Maiden.

In the trailer, you see Weisz’s character playing happy families with David Harbour’s Red Guardian. But in the comics, Iron Maiden is one of Black Widow’s greatest foes, who wears an Iron Man-esque power suit.

Weizs further added flames to this particular flyer, telling Entertainment Weekly that her character was part of an ‘experiment’ that she could not talk about.
Speaking about her character, Weizs admits “She’s quite a seasoned spy and assassin. She’s also deeply involved in a scientific experiment which I cannot tell you about because it’s part of the story we can’t talk about!”
Black Widow is due to hit cinema screens in May.
