Owen Wilson will soon make his Marvel debut.
The actor has been cast in the Disney+ series Loki, joining Tom Hiddleston who will be reprising his role as the god of mischief.
Loki is slated to launch in the Spring of 2021, and is executive produced by Kevin Feigi – the president of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The show is already in production however, and Rick and MOrty producer Michael Waldron will be writing the show, alongside director Kate Herron.
The role Wilson will play remains to be announced, but some fans believe that he would suit Adam Warlock (he certainly has the hair for it).
Adam Warlock: Who is Marvel’s new superhero?
In the Marvel comics, Adam Warlock – originally known as simply Him or Adam – is a part of the Guardians of the Galaxy series, and an enemy of both Thanos and Magus (an evil version of himself).
It’s thought that if Wilson were to play the role of Adam Warlock, he would reprise his character in future Marvel productions – including potentially the Guardians of the Galaxy and a future Avenger’s film.
