It’s a comedic mockumentary starring the Stranger Things star

Netflix has launched the first trailer for Frankenstein’s Monster’s Monster, a mockumentary starring David Harbour.

The star is set to appear in the third season of Stranger Things (released today), but evidently took time off between seasons to film Netflix’s own take on the Mary Shelly classic.

The film follows Harbour as he comes across a tape of his father’s forgotten TV play, “Frankenstein’s Monster’s Monster, Frankenstein”. The 28-minute comedy short film shows Harbour attempting to find out more about his family of actors, and come to grips with his late father’s filmmaking legacy.

Through interviews with guests – such as Alfred Molina and Kate Berland – the short will revisit the classic novel in an offbeat but dramatic fashion.
