On February 27, Hollywood’s will dust off the ol’ red carpet, load up the confetti canons and the town’s hair-dressers will be making a killing. That’s right, the Oscars are back.
As the great and the good of Tinsletown strutt their stuff down the red carpet, the rest of us quietly judge them on everything from their interview answers to the colour of their buttons. If you’re that way inclinde (and who isn’t), worry not, OSN has got you covered not only with live coverage of the 89th Academy Awards, but also packing your TV full of award-winning films from previous years, everyday throughout February.
The cable TV’s February line-up will kick off with 2016 winners, The Revenant, Spotlight, Bridge of Spies and Mad Max: Fury Road. Seen them already? Don’t worry, ‘Oscars on Demand’ content will be available throughout the month on the OSN Store.
On the night of the awards, you can satisfy your annual celeb binge by watching the live, ‘all access’ pass to the Academy Awards ceremony – although we warn you, it will be a late one.
Starting at 2am (Gulf Standard Time) you can catch entertainment goliath E! Entertainment’s Live from the red carpet and Fashion Police shows, warming you up nicely for the main event where host Jimmy Kimmel will take to the stage at 5:30am, all live on OSN Movies Festival HD and OSN Play.
