This month Sotheby’s will unveil Boundless: Dubai.
The exhibition/auction features new perspectives on art based around the Middle East. The pieces explore the influence of the Middle East on art as a region, including its beauty, complexity and artistic heritage.
The sale brings together works sourced from around the globe, in order to create a dialogue for both new and seasoned collectors. The auction spans collecting categories of 20th century and contemporary art, design, photography, prints, books and manuscripts, arts of the Islamic World, orientalist and jewellery.
The Auction, held under is the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Women Establishment, President of The Cultural Office and wife of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and in collaboration with The Cultural Office.
