After a well deserved Eid break, residents of Dubai found out the hard way that we’re never meant to get too comfortable. The Dubai Comedy Festival

Dubai Opera main stage and Roxy Cinemas at Dubai Hills Mall is staring the weekend off with a bang with the final three days of the week long Dubai Comedy Festival. Check out the schedule and snag your tickets before they’re gone. Here’s what you can expect over the next few days.

Friday, April 19: Dubai Opera presents married podcasters Spencer & Vogue, followed by the incomparable Mo Gilligan. Over at Roxy Cinemas, Dubai Hills Mall, prepare to be entertained by Egypt’s comedic talents, including Ola Roshdy, Mahmoud Konafa, Islam Amin, Shehab El Ashry, and Hashem El Garhy. Plus, catch South African comedian Alfred Adriaan’s take on being “Unfit & 40.”

Saturday, April 20: The legendary Anubhav Singh Bassi takes centre stage with back-to-back shows at Dubai Opera, followed by the intriguing Comedy Bizarre at the studio. Meanwhile, at Roxy Cinemas, Dubai Hills Mall, the Emirati Showcase: English Edition promises beloved Emirati comedians, with Riaad Moosa adding main stage.

Sunday, April 21: Wrap up the festival with at Dubai Opera’s main stage, celebrating Arab comedians Ali, Eslam, Badr, Eddie, and Nermine in Bil 3arabi 3.0. Whilst Roxy Cinemas, Dubai Hills Mall, will host the India vs Pakistan lineup and a special surprise guest to close out with Borderline Funny.

White Festival

Fancy getting your groove on? Get yourself to Dubai Harbour on April 20, 2024. This year, the festival is cranking it up to eleven, welcoming up to 15,000 attendees for a celebration of music and contemporary culture. The festival will showcase the sounds of Grammy-winning artist Black Coffee, known worldwide for his blend of soulful jazz and African rhythms. Joining him is &ME, a key figure from the Berlin electronic scene and part of the renowned Keinemusik collective.

Poolside Brunch Club

Looking to be kick back this weekend? Head over to Address Sky View’s Poolside Brunch Club. Round up your crew for a day of fun in the sun and cool off with a dip in their awesome pool, where you can soak in views of the Burj Khalifa and the city skyline.
