Okay, so we’ve done a lot of talking about Roadhouse, but considering that the film takes place in the Florida keys (filming actually took place in the Dominican Republic, with the hot, muggy climate perfectly masquerading as that of the Sunshine State), one can’t help but notice the similar climate to Dubai (until we get into the summer months, where Dubai’s hellish conditions unfortunately remain undefeated).
But when looking at the attire of the film’s stars, nevertheless the unparalleled film of sweat in which everyone is coated, one can only think that such attire would work quite well for Dubai right now. And who wouldn’t want to dress like Jake Gyllenhaal or Conor McGregor?
Tops
Short sleeved Hawaiian shirts are the unequivocal go-to for a damp, muggy climate where biceps reign supreme, and for good reason. Not only can you cheekily unbutton a button or two to show off your muscle-cleavage, but the short sleeves allows for better bicep exposure, and done in a way that doesn’t appear too showy.

Taking a roundhouse kick to the face probably doesn’t feel very awesome. But what is awesome is delivering a roundhouse kick to the face in some spectacular, head-turning trousers. And although some of the material of our selected trousers may, in fact, not be the most suited for the incoming humidity, most of us will be spending time inside anyway, therefor: looking good > weather appropriate attire.
Tom Ford

These bad boys are a classic for a reason, and though there’s been much online debate over whether or not you can actually fight somebody in jeans, nonetheless with the intensity shown in Roadhouse, realistically, you probably won’t have that issue.
