The collaboration will see photography of icons such as Keith Richards, Mick Jagger and Nico available to purchase from the French Fashion House’s boutiques

Cooler-than-thou fashion brand Saint Laurent is extending its Rive Droite boutique portfolio, bringing customers both stylish wall-adornments as well as chic apparel. The collaboration with photography exhibition giant, Fahey Klein Gallery Los Angeles, will see Anthony Vaccarello curate an exhibition exploring ‘music, creation and self-attitude’.

Fahey Klein gallery which stocks Contemporary Fine Art Photography exclusively, boasts an inventory of over 8,000 portraits, nudes, landscapes and still-lifes. The works will be available from both the Paris and Los Angeles stores, and includes works such “ Nico in Times Square, New York, 1964 ” by Steve Schapiro, and “ Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, New York City, 1981 ” by Arthur Elgort.

The partnership should come as little surprise, given the owner of Kering group’s deep love for the arts. François Pinault who founded the fashion conglomerate in 1963 lists as one of the top 200 art collectors globally, having in 1998 acquired the majority stake in Christie’s Auction house to the tune of a cool 1.2 billion.
