Donald Trump is the butt of all jokes on Middle East Twitter
Donald Trump is a Twitter beast. There's probably no other world leader who is so vocal and active on Twitter. Not a day goes by without an all caps tweet, a late night tweet, a tweet attacking fellow 2020 presidential candidates or talking about everything his government is (not) doing to stop the spread of coronavirus in the US.
US President Donald Trump mistakenly tagged a Saudi Arabian user with the handle “@FdA” in a tweet about coronavirus, instead of the official Food and Drug Administration (FDA) “@US_FDA”.
Trump retweeted an article about new technology that “can clean up to 80,000 pieces of PPE (personal protective equipment) for use” which is a “huge breakthrough in the fight against the #coronavirus.”
Unbeknownst to FDA or "Abu Al-Fida", a snapchat user from Saudi, is now a part of thousands of memes online showing him rushing to rescue the US amid the COVID-19 emergency. As expected, Arab Twitter is hilariously making the most of the President's gaffe.
The hashtag #ابو_الفدا has gone viral on Twitter with many sharing memes ad poking fun at Trump's expense.
Just a tiny suggestion President Trump, check the Twitter account of a person before you tag them in a tweet next time.
