Changes character models to look more like Cavill and Anya Chalotra

Netflix’s The Witcher series has prompted new interest in the four-year-old The Witcher 3 video game, with fans trying to figure out how to get more elements from the series into the game.

A new mod does just that, turning character Geralt and Yennefer character models to look more like the actors that played those roles in the series, namely Henry Cavill and Anya Chalotra.

As Steam’s annual winter sale drew to a close, The Witcher 3 was last week’s best-seller – beating out other much newer games such as Red Dead Redemption 2, Sekiro and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

While the series was developed independently from the game, it still borrows some elements from it. And now Witcher fans want to borrow elements from the series, to add to the game.

One mod lets you play as the series leads, Henry Cavill and Anya Chalotra. Available from NexusMods for the PC version, it adds a new head and body for Geralt, as well as new black armour and shirts he wears in the show.

Similarly, Yennefer features a different face shape, skin and eyes. There are further improvements to come.

Other mods change certain amulets and monsters to look more like their TV counterparts, while another makes a nod to Cavill’s Superman past, giving Geralt medieval Superman-style underwear.
