Apple TV+ just dropped a teaser for 'The Morning Show'
As Apple TV+ prepares for its big debut in the streaming television landscape, the company has released the first trailer for its upcoming series, The Morning Show.
The minute long teaser features a slow motion creep through a morning show studio, with the overlapping voices of Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Steve Carell narrating the clip. While there’s not much footage to go off of, it’s pretty clear from the cryptic voiceovers that that no one on this show is going to get along.
The Morning Show’s stellar cast makes the series one of Apple TV+’s flashiest upcoming titles for this fall. The show will follow two ambitious women (Aniston and Witherspoon) through the landscape of morning television, along with an older male anchor (Carell) who is struggling to adapt with the times.
From a glimpse of Morning Show's poster, it appears that Aniston and Carell will fill the seats as the lead anchors—at least for the time being.
Reportedly, the show will feature "high stakes drama that pulls back the curtain on early morning TV," even wading into the waters of the #MeToo movement.
With a non-specific Fall 2019 debut, keep an eye out for news of The Morning Show’s official launch. The series is sure to get a ton of buzz just from Witherspoon, Aniston, and Carell's involvement.
