Donna Benton started a business based on a simple two-for-one deal model, but it has since grown into something of a UAE business staple. The Entertainer is often credited as being one of the fastest growing businesses in the region and is now available worldwide with more than 10,000 partners around the globe.
Earlier this year, the fabled hard copy book was discontinued as she took her company 100 percent digital. A bold, forward-thinking move, but one that we are certain will pay off.
What does winning this award mean to you?
It means a whole lot to me. But could only accept it on behalf of the whole Entertainer team who work so hard to make sure the product remains useful to its customers.
What can we expect from you in 2018?
We are extremely visionary, agile and constantly involving, so 2018 is about being digital and data-focused, which allows us to concentrate on improving usability, expansion and working with the best merchants.
