This Emirati entrepreneur is part of a new school of property leaders who believe that good, sustainable design (and being environmentally aware) are pivotal to the future of the region’s real estate industry and are in line with the UAE government’s Vision 2021 National Agenda.
Bin Zaal was previously the CEO of the award-winning Al Barari development, but in 2017 branched out and set up his own company KOA —whose idea of creating communities that facilitate collaboration, creativity and social engagement sits at the very heart of what they are striving to achieve.
Who would you like to thank?
My wife, who has been a huge inspiration to me and a great support in all of my businesses
What inspires you about the region?
It is my home, and I think we are currently living through an important cultural shift, which makes things exciting to be a part of.
What can we expect from KOA in 2018?
Much, much more. The past year was just the start for KOA and there is so much more potential for the region, when it comes to real estate and especially the sector we are in.
