Some travellers return with photos, others reminisce about the food, while some come back with something more precious: a fashion find they happen to stumble upon. Perhaps it is a jacket they are not looking for, an accessory they have not seen before, or a brand they happen to discover. The Bicester Collection destinations are where such moments take place.

The Villages are designed as full-day experiences that combine shopping, dining, entertainment, and more. This season, a run of new openings and experiences offers even more reason to put them on your places-to-visit list this year.

At Bicester Village in Oxfordshire, the opening of Belstaff introduces a label that has always been prominent in menswear. Jacob Cohën, for those who are denim obsessed, is now open. Even the smaller additions, such as the newly opened Zurich-based Bear Street Bakery kiosk, which opens its first UK outpost, also offer a reason to take a break between visiting the boutiques.

Speaking of taking your sweet time, those who enjoy haircare combined with technology explore Dyson’s range as its boutique is now open at Bicester Village. The store offers demonstration zones, live air quality testing, and styling stations.

Among the fresh openings is Diptyque, the Saint-Germain-born Parisian brand known for its evocative perfumes, scented skincare, and decorative objects. Other events not to miss include Music in the Village Square from 23–25 May, pizza-making sessions for mini chefs, and the On Running Club for those looking to balance shopping with movement

Meanwhile, a CurrentBody pop-up brings the beauty tech brand’s devices into the Village, while a Dr Vranjes pop-up that’s due to open later in the summer is set to introduce the Italian home fragrance name known for its scented diffusers and candles.

Elsewhere in Madrid, Nude Project’s new boutique at Las Rozas Village goes beyond a typical fashion space, instead functioning as a cultural hub with music, art, and a sense of community. The space includes everything from a DJ room to a hidden jukebox, encouraging visitors to linger.

At Fidenza Village in Italy, Richard Orlinski’s Wild Kong that was originally featured during Milan Design Week, now fully relocated to Fidenza Village, where it brings together art, design, and fashion.

The destinations are designed with the understanding that even the most enthusiastic shoppers reach a point where carrying bags starts to take the shine off the day. At Bicester Village in Oxfordshire, Hands-free Shopping allows guests to browse without carrying their purchases, with items collected and packed for pick-up at the end of the day.

It is not just about making shopping easier; the benefits carry on even once visitors leave. At Las Rozas Village in Madrid (and all other Villages of The Bicester Collection), guests claim frequent flyer points through the Village’s airline partner programme, while Fidenza Village in Italy highlights partner offers that allow shoppers to accumulate points, miles, and cashback.

From Bicester Village in Oxfordshire to Las Rozas Village in Spain and Fidenza Village in Italy, each destination offers its own take on what a day of good finds and immersive stops can feel like. They form part of The Bicester Collection’s wider network of nine open-air Villages across Europe and twelve globally.
