You can’t see him, but his time is now. John Cena has partnered with Abu Dhabi for a new tourism campaign, and he doesn’t minds words—now is the time to visit the UAE’s capital.

Following the teaser released last week, the full short film shows Cena discovering Abu Dhabi in a magazine while on a private jet flight, and when the pilots refuse to make a pitstop, he grabs a parachute and lands on the roof of the Louvre Abu Dhabi, showing many of the city’s most popular spots along the way.

“A haven of year-round sunshine and a perfect place for winter sun, Abu Dhabi offers a world in one place – ideal for travellers looking to channel their wanderlust and create new memories. From dune bashing in the desert to unwinding on its pristine beaches, taking in its vibrant and contemporary art and culture scene, or exploring an array of family fun attractions and theme parks – there is a world of possibility to discover during a trip to Abu Dhabi,” says a release from Abu Dhabi’s department of tourism about the video.

Abu Dhabi is currently welcoming all international travellers who are vaccinated, as well as those who are coming from Green List countries, as quarantine has finally ended in the city for those who fit the bill.

There are a number of big events coming up in Abu Dhabi, such as the UFC Fight Island series, the Spartan World Championship, the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Mubadala World Tennis Championship, T20 World Cup Abu Dhabi and the annual Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship.

There are also cultural events such as Abu Dhabi Art, Sheikh Zayed Festival and Abu Dhabi Classics, which brings some of the world’s best classical musicians to Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi Culinary Season, the Emirate’s annual celebration of innovative and mouth-watering food experiences, from international chef masterclasses to exclusive chef table events and offers at top restaurants across the capital.
