Night of Champions is a PPV/PLE name that has been used in the company dating back to 2007, when it was used at the back half of that decade across the Raw and Smackdown and even ECW brands, with brands colliding.

Get a look at the new title here:

With the recent WWE Draft finishing this last Monday setting a hard brand-split once again, Raw will be the home of the World Heavyweight Title, with Smackdown the home of the Undisputed title, which will probably have to be renamed again at some point. Roman Reigns remains the champion for what is approaching 1000 days, and there is no challenger in sight who might have the ability to dethrone the Tribal Chief.

It should have been Cody Rhodes, of course, but with the two now firmly entrenched on separate brands, maybe next ‘Mania that rematch will finally occur.

But as Night of Champions has historically been about brands colliding, could we see the two cross paths in Jeddah? Time will tell.
