Disney fans in the UAE will be in for a treat this November 2022 as the stage show version of The Lion King is coming to Yas Island’s Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi for 4 weeks from November 16 until December 10.

The show will feature incredible costumes, stage production and a talented cast as the story is brought to life through songs and puppetry.

ADCB card holders currently have exclusive access to pre-sale tickets from today (June 20) until June 26 through the etihadarena.ae and Platinum List  while the rest of the public can purchase the tickets starting next week on June 27. There’s also an exclusive pre-sales discount for ADCB card holders who will be able to use ADCB15 for 15% off weekday shows and ADCB10 for 10% off weekend shows.

From June 27, the starting ticket prices are AED 200 for Bronze (Weekdays Monday to Thursday) and AED 250 for weekend tickets (Friday to Sunday). The show will be running two performances per day on Saturdays and Sundays.

Garnering over 70 global awards including a Grammy for Best Musical Show Album, this year’s performance in Abu Dhabi will be the first time that the highest grossing Broadway production of all time appears in the UAE since its debut in 1997.  In fact, this Friday, (June 24) will mark the 28th anniversary of the original release of the movie itself.

The show version of the Disney Classic is celebrating  25 years of entertaining over 100 million people around the world and has permanent residences in London, Tokyo, Madrid, and New York. Most recently, the show has been on tour in Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, and more international destinations.
