Some anniversaries call for champagne; others deserve an entire tasting menu. TATEL’s tenth falls firmly into the latter category. Since opening its Dubai doors last year, the restaurant’s become something of a benchmark for Spanish fine dining. And now, it’s celebrating the legacy that started ten years ago in its inaugural location.
Founded in 2014, TATEL was conceived in Madrid by Spanish businessman Manuel Campos Guallar as an homage to his homeland’s cuisine done the right way, with bold flavours and authentic recipes. Today, the restaurant is a culinary trendsetter across the globe, from Ibiza to Valencia to Dubai.

In honour of its tenth anniversary, Head Chef Alejandro Maestro and his team have crafted a delectable tasting menu with ten courses – one for each year of TATEL’s journey. Alejandro notes, “It’s about celebrating where we’ve been but also showing where we’re going.”
Available from October 16 to November 15, it begins with Atún rojo muy fino – thinly sliced Balfego tuna dressed in a secret house blend. The Aguacate a la brasa con carabinero is another highlight, with grilled avocado and scarlet prawn brushed with garlic.
For mains, the Salmón al Josper con salsa de yuzu stands out. The Josper grill imparts that deep, smoky edge, balanced by the citrus brightness of yuzu and the silkiness of smoked avocado mousse. The Costilla de ternera a baja temperatura follows – slow-cooked short ribs glazed to perfection.

For those who crave something “not too sweet” when it’s time for dessert, there’s the Nuestro falso limón, a realistic replica of a lemon that cuts sugary sweetness with sour citrus flavours. Finish on a high note with a slice of Tarta de queso (or Basque cheesecake for those who don’t speak Spanish).
As Dubai continues to collect fine dining experiences like medals, TATEL’s anniversary menu stands out for what it represents: ten years of dedication to the art of taste, plated with precision and served with soul.
