Let’s set the scene: you’re flipping through Instagram, sipping your Latte at Cipriani Dolci, and all of sudden your in the company of royalty!

That’s exactly what happened when His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, popped into the popular Jumeirah cafe just yesterday.

For those unawares, Cipriani Dolce opened in Jumeirah just last month. It follows on from its first location in Mall of the Emirates.

Cipriani Dolci’s menu is a nod to Italian cuisine. It’s straightforward – think breakfast options like eggs and smoothies, and all-day dishes like pizzas and sandwiches. They’ve got this dish, Harry’s Tower, inspired by their original Harry’s Bar in Venice. It’s a mix of Italian snacks, pretty popular with the regulars.

Then there are the pastries. Displayed in a glass case, you’ll find everything from bomboloni donuts to cannoli. Simple, yet satisfying.

What makes Cipriani Dolci stand out, though, is the unexpected. Like yesterday, when Sheikh Mohammed casually walked in.
