Indian mega-star Ranveer Singh grows more and more massive every year, as does his love for the UAE. To celebrate, Experience Abu Dhabi has named the pop culture icon as an official ambassador to inspire his legion of fans to find out what all the country’s capital has to offer.

Singh has signed on for a two-year partnership with AD, with plans to share many holiday highlights across that time, including for huge events including IIFA, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and the Abu Dhabi NBA Games.

“I am delighted to be the destination ambassador for Abu Dhabi This is the most fun I’ve had behind the camera! I’ve been visiting the emirate for years, and it feels like a second home to me. Now, I have the opportunity to share what makes it so special with the world. Every time I visit, there is something new to discover, and I always leave with countless memories and a strong desire to return. With so much to see and do, and just a short three-hour flight from Mumbai, Abu Dhabi is a must-visit holiday destination for everyone to experience,” says Singh,

Could we see Singh on the court with Kyrie Irving this October? Honestly that’s something we’d love to see.

He’ll also be touring around the top spots and revealing hidden gems hiding in the capital.

Ranveer Singh’s new film: One Summer Isn’t Enough

Singh will also be dropping a new short film entitled One Summer Isn’t Enough, releasing soon.

“In the film, audiences will witness Ranveer explore some of Abu Dhabi’s hotspots, from soaking up the sun in the chilled pools of Saadiyat Beach Club to taking in the wonder at Louvre Abu Dhabi and racing around the famous Yas Marina Circuit, before enjoying retail therapy at one of the city’s incredible malls,” says the official description.

He performs the UAE Al Ayyala dance—for real. You have to see this!

In the mean time, here’s the last time we met up with Singh, putting him on the cover of Esquire Middle East in 2017.
