Over the past two decades, OMNIYAT has helped shape Dubai’s larger-than-life approach, delivering buildings that are better described as works of art. When a company like that turns 20, dinner and some cake just aren’t going to cut it.

Instead, on January 15, OMNIYAT marked the milestone with a carefully orchestrated takeover of The Lana, Dorchester Collection, Dubai, transforming the hotel into an immersive, multi-sensory experience for a guest list that included dignitaries, partners, and VIPs.

The event began in the ballroom, where guests were welcomed before being ushered upwards through the hotel’s venues. Riviera by Jean Imbert and Jara by Martín Berasategui, landmark fine-dining destinations at The Lana, became key stages along the way, offering delectable pass-around canapés and culinary delights.

Each space provided a new experience for the guests, from a Dolce Vita-inspired mood to jazz-inflected interludes. Live performances set the tone, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.

As visitors reached High Society, the hotel’s rooftop lounge delivered both altitude and attitude. With sweeping views over the Burj Khalifa District, the final act unfolded through a headline stage performance and a live DJ set that pushed the energy even higher. The closing moment arrived in the form of a choreographed drone show over the skyline.

Founded in 2005, OMNIYAT has grown to become one of the region’s most distinctive luxury real estate developers. Its projects across Dubai’s waterfronts and urban centres reflect long-standing collaborations with globally renowned architects, designers, and hospitality brands, from Zaha Hadid to Foster + Partners.

Entering its third decade, the brand shows no sign of slowing down, leveraging 20 years of momentum to power a future of bold new ventures.
