Oops, she did it again. The “Toxic” singer herself is about to release a revelatory new memoir, and celebrities are rumoured to be scared stiff over what she may publish, none more than her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake.
“Rumor has it that Justin Timberlake is desperate to get his hands on Britney Spears biography before it hits shelves. What do you think he did that he doesn’t want getting out?” posted Twitter user @the8bitidiot.
The report was first leaked to The Sun, which quoted a source about potential legal action against the “…baby one more time” legend.
“There are a lot of nervous A-listers,” a source told The Sun. “Strongly worded legal letters have been sent to the publishers by people who know Britney.”
Another source got more specific to Radar Online, singling out the ‘Sexy Back’ and ex- N*Sync frontman Justin Timberlake.

“Justin’s future is literally in the hands of Britney,” source said, adding that Britney “knows everything.”
“Justin is apologetic and trying to get hold of the manuscript before anyone else does,” the source also stated.
“He has a PR war room set up, but they can’t do anything until they read what she has to say.”
Why is Timberlake so scared, anyway?
So, what’s he so worried about? Well for one, last year Spears made it very clear she harbors ill will towards her ex, who she dated from 1999 to 2002, in a now-deleted Instagram post which you can read below.
In it, she makes it clear she felt he used her to sell his first solo album, Justified, in 2003. Timberlake accused Spears of cheating in songs on that album, which Britney seems to refute in the following statement.

The singer also apologized to Brit back in 2021 after the documentary about her tumultuous years came off very unfavorably to Justin.
His apology at the time reads as follows:
“I’ve seen the messages, tags, comments, and concerns and I want to respond. I am deeply sorry for the times in my life where my actions contributed to the problem, where I spoke out of turn, or did not speak up for what was right. I understand that I fell short in these moments and in many others and benefited from a system that condones misogyny and racism.
“I specifically want to apologise to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson both individually, because I care for and respect these women and I know I failed. I also feel compelled to respond, in part, because everyone involved deserves better and most importantly, because this is a larger conversation that I wholeheartedly want to be part of and grow from.
“The industry is flawed. It sets men, especially white men, up for success. It’s designed this way. As a man in a privileged position I have to be vocal about this. Because of my ignorance, I didn’t recognise it for all that it was while it was happening in my own life but I do not want to ever benefit from others being pulled down again.
“I have not been perfect in navigating all of this throughout my career. I know this apology is a first step and doesn’t absolve the past. I want to take accountability for my own missteps in all of this as well as be part of a world that uplifts and supports. I care deeply about the wellbeing of the people I love and have loved. I can do better and I will do better.”
Spears’ book is reportedly delayed until the end of 2023, so the ‘Mirror’ signer, married to Jessica Biel, has some time on the clock to stop word from getting out.
