After putting on a suit, any man who claims that he doesn’t whisper “Bond, James Bond,” to himself in the mirror is just plain lying. Coming to Amazon Prime on November 10, is the 007: Road to a Million adventure show, which will document nine brave contestant duos attempting to win a AED 4.5 million prize by testing their minerals on a series of Bond-inspired challenges across the globe.

And the mastermind announcing these ten questions is none other than Brian Cox, who, on behalf of Esquire, we’re going to to publicly request narrates every single Ian Fleming James Bond audiobook (whoever is in charge, please make this happen). As the contestants travel thousands of miles across a slew of perilous terrains – alligators, avalanches, helicopters, and more – Logan Roy himself will be observing from the sky, but one wrong move, and you are finished.

Airing in over 240 countries worldwide, 007: Road to a Million is an exciting collaboration between Amazon Studios, EON Productions, 72 Films and MGM Television.

For those brave enough to take part in Series Two, click here to apply. The deadline for applications is 31st October 2023. Contestants need to be 18+ and you must be a UK resident to take part.

Word on the street is that Christopher Nolan will soon be fulfilling his childhood dream of directing not one, but two James Bond films sometime in the future. Well, if that does happen, another humble request from us here at Esquire: please make Brian Cox the bad guy. We’d be pressed to find an actor working today who would be as intimidating as him.
