Not to be too much of a softie on the most hated man on the internet, but after meeting Jake Paul last summer at a press conference in Washington D.C., I was pleasantly (not so) surprised to find Jake very respectful, kind, and generous with his time, reaffirming the suspicion that his abhorrently unlikeable personality is a very well manicured and lucrative persona.
With that said, after delivering one of the most yawn-inducing events of all time late last year with his Netflix-streamed “fight” against Mike Tyson, Jake needs to remind people why they should tune in to watch him do anything anymore. The result? A boxing match against his brother, YouTuber turned WWE star and occasional boxer, Logan Paul.
And according to Logan’s official X (twitter) account, the fight is confirmed on March 27, 2025.

Whether you think this is good, bad, or simply don’t care, one thing is for sure: they are going to make so, so much money. And after repeatedly flirting yet never committing to a boxing match against any current boxer or UFC fighter below the age of forty, Jake and Logan clearly had a sit down with their media team, and realised it’s time for the big one.
Predictably, however, the internet remains skeptical.
I’m calling Bull 💩 on this one.
Logan is tied in with Netflix for WWE, your last fight was on Netflix and did big numbers so why on earth would this be on MAX?
I think it’s a ruse.

Understandable responses, but make no mistake: 99.99% of the people lambasting the validity of the announcement, nevertheless the news itself, will tune in to watch the final result. Whether that be on some YouTube reel the following morning, or watching it live, the marketing masterclass of these two is something to behold.
Upon further inspection of the date, however, one will find that March 27, 2025, lands on a Thursday, and the chances of an event this size happening not on Saturday, or even a Friday, feel rather slim. Perhaps the date was a glitch? Or is it a deliberate attempt at online trolling?
Oh, well. All we can do now is wait.
