His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, turns 73 years old today.
Born on July 15, 1949, Sheikh Mohammed has led an extraordinary life, becoming Ruler of Dubai in 2006 and ushering in the city into a period of unprecedented prosperity and global esteem, building the city into what it is today and having successfully brought the spectacle that was Expo 2020 to the world.
His son, HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has long shared wonderful photos of his father on his hugely popular Instagram account @faz3, where he boasts more than 15 million followers.
