The culture festival is already garnering excitement and widespread anticipation coming off of a two year hiatus, and to add to the flame HUGO has announced a pair of limited-edition HU-GO1ST sneakers, designed and produced exclusively for the UAE.
Not only is Dubai getting exclusive access to grab a pair of the sneakers, which are due to launch in Spring/Summer 23, festival-goers will be given the opportunity to have their shoes customized by Syrian artist, Dina Saadi.
Dina’s style aims to depict the diversity of urban spaces and commonly utilizes themes of wildlife and natural elements. HUGO will have a dedicated space at SOLE DXB for people to get their pairs customized.
The sneaker redefines the eclectic skater style of the Y2K era to reflect the mood of today. the HU-GO1ST sneaker features a rubber outsole with reflective details and a special lacing system. A hiking-inspired pattern on the sole sees the repetition of the HUGO triangle, promising a strong grip, and breathable materials in the lining and upper complete the style. This limited-edition drop features a curated palette of HUGO red, black and white, with the exclusive addition of green in honor of the UAE national flag.
The sneaker will launch at SOLE DXB taking place from December 9 to 11, and also be available in limited quantities across HUGO stores at Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates.
