A recent report from Luxury Promise has analysed Google search volumes, trends and social followings, to find the most searched for designer brands in the UAE and globally.
So, if you’ve just downloaded your first trading app, and you’re looking to make your first investment, then you may want to know who is the hottest and most searched for brand in 2023 in the UAE.
Louis Vuitton takes the cake with 74,000 monthly searches in the UAE, and 11,100,000 worldwide (and we can only assume Pharrell being appointed as the new creative director of menswear had a little something to do with that).
10 Most Searched for Designer Brands of 2023
Louis Vuitton | 74,000 |
Cartier | 49,500 |
Dior | 49,500 |
Loro Piana | 40,500 |
Van Cleef & Arpels | 33,100 |
Rolex | 33,100 |
Gucci | 33,100 |
Balenciaga | 27,100 |
Chanel | 22,200 |
Loewe | 18,100 |
The popularity of Louis Vuitton should come as no surprise, but with Pharrell debuting his first runway show this year, first in Paris, then, more recently, in Hong Kong, with the likes of Jay-Z, Beyonce, and Rihanna in attendance, the soaring popularity in the iconic brand makes a lot of sense.
LV also just opened its first Resort store in the UAE at the Atlantis the Royal Hotel.
UAE’s 10 Most Trending Designer Brands of 2023

Chloé | 260 | 128.57% |
Anna Quan | 70 | 125.00% |

Bulgari | 9,900 | 49.38% |
David Yurman | 720 | 49.15% |
Christopher Kane | 50 | 33.33% |
In the UAE, celebrity status and social success drives demand and increases awareness and trends. Though not at the top, Van Cleef & Arpels has grown significantly in the region, and is just one of two brands to be included in both the ‘most searched’ and ‘trending’ designer brands.

Dior has clearly nailed that market with it’s simple, often shaky, yet authentic, videos providing fans with a behind the scenes glance into their world. Their Orelsan behind-the-scenes video for the #GrisDior campaign hit 33M views, and the Magic of India is Alive Tiktok for #DiorFall23 hit 27M views.

Instagram appears to be the best platform when it comes to the world of fashion, and Chanel’s grid of everyone from Sofia Coppola to catwalks to behind the scenes footage has landed them in the top spot. Not bad for a brand over 100 years old.
