The first-ever Riyadh Fashion Week is all set to light up The Kingdom’s capital from October 20-23 this year, with 30 Saudi brands preparing to showcase their creativity.

The inaugural landmark event will strut onto centre stage in Riyadh with a string of events and presentations that will attract celebrities, designers, buyers and key industry stakeholders, all of whom are eager to celebrate Saudi’s rapidly booming fashion scene.

Hosted by the Saudi Fashion Commission, the three-day event will be livestreamed, and is intended to support the rapidly growing fashion industry both domestically and overseas.

“For the first time ever, we are welcoming the global fashion community to the epicenter of Saudi fashion, here in Riyadh,” said Burak Çakmak, CEO of the Saudi Fashion Commission.

“The event will showcase the best of our creative talent, allowing yet another opportunity for our brands to connect with the world. Whether you join us in person or via the livestream, we can’t wait to highlight what Saudi fashion has to offer.”

Saudi’s retail fashion sales are predicted to skyrocket 48 percent to AED 118 billion to 2025, a growth fueled by the Kingdom’s expansion in both economics and population. This event will serve as a coming out party for their fashion industry, and we can’t wait to see it.
