The world is obsessed with speed, shortcuts and instant gratification. But not Chivas.
The brand recently brought the world’s most complicated pouring machine, which was engineered from original, upcycled parts from its Strathisla distillery. The machine itself isn’t meant to replace a traditional bartender, instead, it’s to ram home Chivas’ point that some things cannot be simplified.
Rude Goldberg machines are famous for being large, ultra-complicated machines that generally do a simple task. They’re also incredibly fun to watch in action.
Chivas unveiled the machine here in Dubai at the Taj Hotel’s Billionaire Mansion. The VIP event was attended by high profile guests, all of whom were eager to have a go at the pouring machine themselves.
