Generally, we’re more interested in what’s going on up in space. It’s easy to forget that there’s a huge unexplored alien landscape much closer to home – the ocean.
Underwater Photography Guide’s Ocean Art Content aims to change all that. Its annual photography competition wants to track and chart these underwater goings-on, with help from some of the best underwater photogarphers in the world.
There are sixteen categories – ranging from wide-angle and macro to marine life behavior and ‘underwater art’. And for the first time, Nudibranchs – a group of soft-bodied marine gastropod mollusks – got their own category (because they look very specific, indeed).
