The Dubai Shopping Festival is back with a bang for its highly anticipated 29th edition. Having begun on December 8, and spanning until January 14, DSF boasts over 100 events across the city, but here are the four we’re most excited for.
DSF Drone Show presented by Emarat Petroleum
For the Drone Show, Dubai’s glittering night sky will explode with a dazzling displaying of cutting-edge drone technology.
The DSF has joined forces with Mohammed Saeed Harib, who will inject the show with his authentic Emirati touch, adding a unique cultural element to the experience which will see 800 drones flooding the sky.
The theme of this event stems from a vision of Dubai in the future, a visionary adventure as the Drone Show offers a sneak peek into what the famed Emirate might look like. Specifically, this visual feast tells the story of an Emirate space explorer who enters a portal that transports him to a future Dubai through a symphony of lights and motion, watching as the city transforms into a blend of skyscrapers, urban spaces, and innovative transportation systems.
Etisalat MOTB
The season premiere of Etisalat MOTB returns to Dubai Design District from January 5 to January 14.
But Etisalat MOTB isn’t your typical shopping destination. It’s the ultimate hub of unique discoveries and hidden gems that you won’t usually find at your local mall. And being set against the backdrop of Dubai Design District this year’s event will undoubtedly ignite your senses. And over the course of the 10 days, Etisalat MOTB will host food trucks, new foodie concepts and an experiential cafe specifically catered for any and all Instagram fanatics.
Tunes DXB
Watch the best musical talents in the city for free with Tunes DXB beginning from January 5. Enjoy vibrant beats and melodies against the winter backdrop at locations citywide until January 14. This event is a celebration of the city’s unmatched local talent, in addition to regional talents transforming the entire urban landscape into a dazzling symphony of song and dance.

Armani Prive Exhibition
The Armani Prive Exhibition takes place at the Dubai Opera garden from January 9 to January 14. This will be an exclusive collection of the best scents Armani has to offer, so after you’ve finished shopping, dancing to good tunes, and introduced your senses to everything the event has to offer, naturally, you’ll need to smell good too.
