WWE is headed back to Saudi Arabia for another top tier event, and this time, it’s one that the Kingdom has never seen before.

Jeddah will be the host to the Elimination Chamber PPV, now being branded as a ‘premium live event’ on February 19, 2022.

Held at the Jeddah Superdome, WWE promised more will be announced on the event in the coming weeks.

“The Elimination Chamber show complements the commitment of the General Entertainment Authority to provide the most famous international events and entertainment shows. This show was preceded by several previous partnerships with WWE to present international shows in the kingdom, which achieved remarkable local and international success, including the recent WWE Crown Jewel show in Riyadh Season 2021 and WWE Super ShowDown in the previous Riyadh Season in early 2020.”

Elimination Chamber will be the only major event this year held between the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania, two of the biggest drawing events of the year.

The event will also be held on Saturday, while previous events in Saudi Arabia have been held on a Thursday.

Elimination Chamber will mark the seventh WWE event to have been held in the Kingdom, part of a 10-year deal with the Saudi Arabian Sports Authority. WWE also held a major event in Riyadh last fall.

It remains to be seen who will be headlining the show, but as is now the tradition with Saudi events, expect the biggest matches and some returns from the past.

And who knows, perhaps Mansoor will win the tag team titles?
