The 12th edition of the Middle East Film & Comic Con is gearing up to be a magical one, with Harry Potter actors James and Oliver Phelps joining the convention’s star-studded lineup of celebrity guests.
The identical twin actors are best known for portraying Fred and George Weasley in the film adaptations of Harry Potter from 2001 to 2011, roles which they allegedly skipped school to audition for with no prior acting experience.
James and Oliver Phelps are slated to attend two of the three convention days – Saturday, February 10th and Sunday, February 11th, 2024.

The Gryffindor House alumni will be joined by Netflix’s breakout star Iñaki Godoy, who brought Monkey D. Luffy to life in One Piece, and Temuera Morrison, known for his dual roles as Boba Fett and Jango Fett in Star Wars.
An impressive lineup of voice actors are also scheduled to attend the convention, including Frank Welker (Transformers, Garfield, Scooby Doo), Peter Cullen (Transformers, Predator), and Troy Baker (The Last of Us, Uncharted, Final Fantasy XIII).
The Middle East Film & Comic Con will be held at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi, from February 9th-11th. More celebrity guests are expected to be announced soon. Until then… mischief managed!
