The world’s biggest annual beauty pageant, one of the most watched in the world with an estimated audience of 500 million, will be arriving in the country likely next year.
Whether or not this is the main global pageant or a UAE edition of the pageant has yet to be confirmed.
An official announcement will come on Thursday, October 7 at a press conference in Dubai.
The last global pageant, the 69th in the event’s history, was held in Florida in May. The current Miss Universe is Andrea Meza of Mexico.
While no date has been confirmed for whatever the UAE event will be. If it is the global Miss Universe pageant, the event would most likely be held in May of 2022, a year after the last event.

Steve Harvey hosted the last event once again.
The event will be the latest to be moved to the country, with many recent global events, especially in sporting, moving to the Gulf country.
